Wisdom Skincare started with a personal mission to discover products and ingredients that would calm and balance sensitive skin. I have always struggled with sensitive skin. In my teenage years, it felt uncomfortable, itchy, red and dry. In my twenties, and early thirties, it was a combination of hormonal acne, dryness and redness resulting in Rosacea. In my search for solutions, I turned to any product that promised to be a healing agent, including brands from drugstores, health food stores, Sephora and everything in between – I even spent hundreds of dollars on high-end and prescription solutions. It was all in vain. Chemicals, cheap ingredients and fragrances – even wonderful smelling essential oils, resulted in irritation. I found products recommended by my dermatologist offered the most effective results due to their advanced active ingredients, but were expensive and super aggressive. Lines such as Skinceuticals and Obagi were well-tolerated but out of my league price-wise, and contained parabens as preservatives.

 

In my late twenties, I turned my passion for skincare into a career as an aesthetician. I graduated from the Euro Institute of Skin Care, one of the nation's premier esthetics schools located in Seattle, Washington. There I learned the latest skincare trends, and obtained the finest education and training in holistic skin care. After working in the spa industry a few years, I opened my own Skin Clinic in Easton, PA called The Skin Clinic Wellness and Waxing Boutique. I’m proud to say that my business grew quickly through positive word of mouth, and The Skin Clinic was recognized in 2014 and 2015 as the best Skin Care Clinic in the Lehigh Valley. 

 

I’ve used all of this experience to create Wisdom Skincare. The products in my skincare line contain the correct proportions of the most advanced ingredients on the market, such as peptides, alpha-hydroxys and vitamin-complexes in natural bases that are paraben and sythetic fragrance-free. They are the right balance of everything you need to slow down aging, repair damage, and soothe irritation.
